Unsigned Vote by Mail Envelope

Recently our office received your Vote-by-Mail ballot for the June 5, 2018 Statewide Direct Primary Election. Unfortunately the return envelope did not contain your signature. By law, in order to process your ballot your signature must be provided on your return ballot envelope. 


In order to count your ballot, please complete the enclosed Unsigned Ballot Statement and return it to the Office of Elections for processing. We must receive your signed statement before 5:00 pm on June 13th. Postmarks cannot count.


You may return the completed statement by one of the following methods:


    • By Mail: Your statement may be returned by mail using the enclosed return envelope.

        • In Person to the Placer County Office of Elections: The Office of Elections is located at 2956 Richardson Drive in Auburn and offers full service for voters Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on the following weekends:  May 26th/27th and June 2nd/3rd. The Office of Elections will also be open on Memorial Day and the extended business hours of 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day, June 5th. For after hours service, you may deposit your ballot in our 24-hour, drive-up, drop-off ballot box located in front of our office.
