Election Day - the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Important Dates

January 4, 2010

             Signature in lieu of fee period begins

February 16, 2010

Candidate filing begins.

March 12, 2010

Close of regular candidate filing period. Extended candidate filing period begins for some offices.

May 10, 2010

First day vote-by-mail ballots can be mailed.

May 24, 2010

Last day to register to vote for this election.

June 1, 2010

Last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot.

Weekend Office Hours-9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days

May 29th and 30th
June 5th and 6th

Candidate Information

Candidate filing begins Monday, February 16th, 2010 and closes March 12, 2010. If an incumbent fails to file by March 12, 2010, the filing period for that office will be extended to March 17, 2010 for individuals other than the incumbent.

Candidate Watch Candidate Watch is updated every day, Monday through Friday, at approximately 5:00 PM.  This list contains candidates who have either been issued candidate filing paperwork or completed filing. Please note that the qualified candidate list is not certified until a final review of candidate filing information and documentation occurs shortly after candidate filing is completed closed.  Once the final review is complete, a certified list will be placed on our website and will be labeled such.
