First day to process vote-by-mail ballots.

Last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot

Candidate Watch is updated every day, Monday through Friday, at approximately 4:45 PM. This list contains candidates who have either been issued candidate filing paperwork or completed filing in Placer County. Please note that the qualified candidate list is not certified until a final review of candidate filing information and documentation occurs shortly after candidate filing is closed. Once the final review is complete, a certified list will be placed on our website and will be labeled as such. Elections closed in observance of approved County Holiday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

January 27, 2014

Declaration of Intention period begins for Judicial Offices.

February 5, 2014

Last day for judicial candidates to file a Declaration of Intention. This period is extended if the incumbent does not file.

February 10, 2014

Candidate filing begins.

February 12, 2014

Elections open from 9AM to 3PM.

February 17, 2014

Elections open from 9AM to 3PM.

February 20, 2014
